Personalised Products

Riff Raff offers a personalisation service on some of our products, allowing you to make the item extra special by adding your baby’s name.

For our Sleep Toy and Wash Day Spares, we offer personalisation using Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV).

For our Hooded Towel sets, we offer personalisation using Embroidery.

Please read on to ensure you understand the specifics of our product personalisation service.

Heat Transfer Vinyl for Sleep Toy comforters and Wash Day Spares

We can add up to 12 characters (including spaces) and can include hearts, stars, or moons.

Colours: The current selection of colours available will always be displayed on our store, and you can use our real time personalisation tool to see how the colours will appear on the product* (slight color variance may occur from your screen display to product display).

The entire name (and any symbols) is printed in a single color only. Multiple or alternating colours are not available.

Font: The font used is "Architects Daughter," as can be seen in the text sample below.



Our real time personalisation tool on our store displays a representation of how your text will look and where it is positioned on the product. However, please note there may be some small variance from the display to the actual product.

Font Height: The size of the letters may vary slightly depending on how many characters are required (max 12) but typically will measure around 2 cm from top to bottom.


Embroidery for Hooded Towel Sets

We can add up to 12 characters (including spaces) but cannot add any non-letter symbols.

The embroidery is located on the hooded towel only, not on the mitt.

Colours: The current selection of colours available will always be displayed on our store, and you can use our live personalisation tool to see how the colours will appear on the product* (slight color variance may occur from your screen display to product display).

Font: The font used is Block 1, as can be seen in the text sample below.

Please note, however, that this tool cannot accurately show the embroidery size of the text. Please refer below to see an approximation of the height of the text.

Font Height: To ensure the text is proportionate, the size of the letters will vary significantly depending on how many characters you are adding.

  1. Up to 5 letters lowercase: approximately 45mm letter height
  2. Up to 5 letters capitalised: approximately 40mm letter height
  3. Up to 8 letters lowercase: approximately 35mm letter height
  4. Up to 8 letters capitalised: approximately 30mm letter height
  5. Up to 10 letters lowercase: approximately 25mm letter height
  6. Up to 10 letters capitalised: approximately 20mm letter height
  7. Up to 12 letters lowercase: approximately 20mm letter height
  8. Up to 12 letters capitalised: approximately 17mm letter height

Embroidery is only completed on the towel, not on the mitt as well.

Wait Time for Personalised Products

We endeavour to personalise your product and get it out for delivery as quickly as possible; however, due to the intricate nature of completing this work, it may take up to 3 business days after placing your order to complete the personalisation and dispatch your order.

Please note: selecting an express shipping option or click and collect does not shorten the wait time for personalisation (3 business days); it only ensures that once the item is with the delivery company, it gets to you faster.

*Personalisation time for Riff Raff Rarities may be longer than the above, and estimates will be advised with each product launch.


Spelling Errors/Order Changes

Due to the uniqueness of every name, it is YOUR responsibility to spell the name correctly, including capitalising the correct letters.

You will receive an order confirmation after successfully placing your order; please check this confirmation to ensure you have spelled the name correctly.

If you identify an error (spelling or colour selection), please contact our customer service team IMMEDIATELY at hello@riffraffbaby.com to let us know and request the change.

Our personalisation team gets to work on your order as quickly as possible after it is placed (often within 6 hours). So if you request a change to your personalised product more than 6 hours after the order is placed, we may not be able to accommodate the change.
